CEVA announced that it has expanded its relationship and contract renewal with BP Zhuhai Chemical Company Limited (BPZ), a chemical company formed in a joint venture between the BP, a global oil company, and Zhuhai Port in China. This marks more than a decade of partnership between the two companies in the warehouse management and operation of BPZ’s facility.
CEVA has been managing and operating the BP Zhuhai facility since 2002. The facility, totalling 10,000 sq m, is manned by approximately 200 CEVA staff.
CEVA’s Jaap Bruining, Managing Director of Contract Logistics Greater China said, “In China, demand for PTA has grown in recent years, fuelled by the country’s thriving manufacturing sector. Being able to support BP Zhuhai as their logistics partner of choice over so many years is a privilege and a testament to CEVA’s operational capabilities and understanding of their business requirements. The quality of our service, commitment and strong track record especially in the area of health, safety and environment, were key to BP’s decision to continue working with CEVA.”
