CaroTrans launches US south east to Japan LCL export service

CaroTrans has announced the launch of a weekly LCL service from Atlanta, US, to major markets in Japan including: Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe, Nagoya and Osaka. The service is designed to eliminate transhipment and double handling in Los Angeles, US, and Busan, South Korea, to reduce risk and increase reliability.

The service offers transit times from Atlanta to Tokyo in 29 days, Yokohama in 30 days, and Osaka, Nagoya and Kobe in 33 days. In Japan CaroTrans’ partner, Seino Logix, provides nationwide secure unpack and expedited distribution. With the addition of this service CaroTrans offers seven export services from the US to Japan.

“Recent market challenges revealed the need for transportation alternatives for global supply chains. Today’s transpacific supply chains require service flexibility and increased transportation choices to ensure reliable, timely freight delivery. Along with Seino Logix, we’re committed to dependable, secure US to Japan consolidation and deconsolidation and transportation services to ensure our clients are effectively serving their customers’ transpacific shipping needs,” said Greg Howard, CEO of CaroTrans.
