American Airlines Cargo expands in Atlanta

American Airlines Cargo announced that it has expanded its operations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the US. American Airlines Cargo will now operate a 12,000 sq ft facility with new additions to the management team and a dedicated staff. This marks the second expansion of the airline’s Atlanta cargo facility since 2013.

The move to this new location within the airport’s north cargo facility is expected to help reduce loading and unloading processing times for customers.

“This new location will allow us to process cargo more efficiently, providing the best possible experience our customers expect and deserve,” said Tom Cartwright, American Airlines Cargo’s senior manager of field operations. “We are excited that our customers will now benefit from the extensive trucking networking, along with our dedicated facility.”

American Airlines Cargo services available in Atlanta include Priority Parcel Service, ConfirmedFS and ExpediteFS. These services offer a variety of trucking options to American Airlines’ US hubs at Dallas/ Fort Worth, Chicago, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Miami and Raleigh.
