Ningbo Port signs agreement with Port of Busan and Port Kelang

Ningbo Port in China announced that it has entered a cooperation agreement Busan Port Authority in Korea and has signed a plan to advance joint action with Malaysia’s Port Kelang Authority.

Under the agreement Ningbo Port and Busan Port Authority will assign representatives to visit each other and jointly discuss on matters related to port development to enhance understanding, deepen friendship and promote development. Both ports plan to establish a regular and effective information exchange system to promote mutual understanding and common development between each other; make extensive exchange in fields of port construction, operation and technology to seek for common development. Meanwhile, both parties will also carry out other exchanges on port development.

The agreement between Ningbo Port and Port Kelang stipulates that both parties will strengthen cooperation in information exchange and datasharing, establish work communication mechanisms and carry out regular or casual personnel exchanges in training and learning. Under the agreement the ports also plan to strengthen exchanges in respect of technological innovation and process optimization.
