CEVA opens new industrial spare parts DC in Born, the Netherlands

CEVA Logistics has announced the opening of a global distribution centre for industrial spare parts, consisting of warehousing space of 12,000 sq m and a yard of 10,000 sq m in Born, the Netherlands.

The new centre features 28,000 bin locations and 3,000 sq m floor storage in the warehouse, combined with a yard of 4,000 racking locations and 4,500 sq m floor storage. The location offers services including: inbound unloading, receipt and put away, outbound picking, packing and loading, and quality inspection.

CEVA will send a variety of parts to end customers and also to replenish local distribution centres worldwide from Born. The site is located within an industrial estate, which has transport links to both Air and Ocean ports through road, rail and barge, with the potential for expansion inside and out.
