DSV opens up more routes to and from Poland

DSV announced that it is broadening its services between the UK and Poland. With the addition of Gdansk and Poznan on top of the existing routes from the company’s terminals in Warsaw, Wroclaw and Łódź, DSV now offers direct services covering many of the major industrial areas of Poland.

Piotr Krawiecki, CEO of DSV Poland Road Division, explained the rationale for the expansion, “We’re experiencing growing demand for high quality groupage services from our customers. By opening up new routes to and from Poland DSV will be able to meet those demands and deliver fast and reliable groupage and part load service to accommodate our client’s high requirements.”

Michael Morberg Madsen, Divisional General Manager for the Eastern Europe region at DSV Road Ltd in the UK said, “Over the past few years, DSV has experienced growth in our trade lines from Poland. When speaking to both UK and Poland based customers we’ve established that there is demand for direct departures to and from Poland to speed up delivery time. Alongside the fact that Poland has one of the fastest growing economies in the EU, DSV feels that the expansion of our already extensive services from this region is a timely, tactical investment.”
