Jan de Rijk Logistics Group acquires Omega Logistics


Jan de Rijk Logistics Group, a provider of transportation and distribution services, announced it had acquired 100% control of Netherlands-based Omega Logistics.

Established in 2011, Omega Logistics operates a temperature controlled distribution network to pharmacies, hospitals, patients and other healthcare facilities. The company employs more than 20 people and controls a fleet of over 60 vehicles and 2,000 temperature controlled pallet locations.

Jan de Rijk Logistics, based in the Netherlands, already operates a fleet of 550 vehicles across Europe and provides warehousing services, retail distribution and patient home deliveries. Jan de Rijk Logistics has 23 offices in 13 countries and employs more than 1000 staff in Europe. The company also operates 2 daily trains between Italy and the Netherlands.
