Schneider names Mark Rourke as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer


Mark Rourke has been named Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Schneider. In his role, Rourke is expected to be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the company with all North American service offerings now reporting up through him.

Chris Lofgren, Schneider President and CEO said of the appointment, “While Mark will now oversee our day-to-day operations, I will focus more time on the strategic growth of our business and long-term positioning.”

Rourke joined Schneider in 1987. During his 28 years with the company, he has held a variety of leadership roles, including President of Truckload Services, General Manager of Schneider Transportation Management, Vice President of Customer Service and Director of Driver Training.
