Canada Post officially launched Delivered Tonight™ in Montreal, the third major city in Canada where customers can have their purchases delivered within hours of placing their online order.
Customers of fashion retailers Frank & Oak and SSENSE can place an online order by early afternoon, and Canada Post plans to deliver the items to homes between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm. The same-day delivery service has been operating in the Greater Toronto Area since 2013, and in Vancouver since2014. Expanding to Montreal opens up the service to an additional 2.2 million people, growing the total number to about 8.5 million people.
René Desmarais, Senior Vice-President, Parcels at Canada Post said, “As the company that delivers two out of three parcels ordered online, we want to continue to introduce services that offer consumers the control and convenience they want in their delivery experience.”
