Envirotainer has announced the opening of a new service station in Shanghai, China to support growing cold chain business to the pharma supply chain.
The opening of Shanghai on November 2nd, 2015 expanded Envirotainer to a total of 54 stations across EMEA, APAC and the Americas creating increased capacitiy with the aim of creating efficiencies in the supply chain of the company’s pharmaceutical clients.
Simon Angeldorff, CEO from Envirotainer, said, “For Envirotainer, this is a massive expansion to the market and we are bringing the best-in-class solutions for the customers in the region. This means that we can ensure availability of our containers and secure shipments so that the medicines can arrive safely to the patient.”
In the past year, the company has opened a new U.S. Headquarter and Cold Chain Competence Center in New York, expanded existing product and service offerings and the increased its container fleet size.
