Bolloré Group has announced Q1 turnover of €2,581m. This represented a 7.2% increase against Q1 of 2016, or 7.3% on a constant scope and exchange rate basis.
In its core transportation and logistics segment, Bolloré reported a rise in revenue of 2.6% to €1,387m. This was aided by success in its freight forwarding sector, which benefitted from an increase in freight rates. Also contributing to growth were its African operations.
Its oil logistics segment grew 26.3% year-over-year. Bolloré said this was due to higher prices for oil products, which offset a decline in volumes.
