CEVA and ANJI Automotive Logistics to expand joint venture into new sectors

CEVA and ANJI Automotive Logistics have agreed to renew and grow their 50/50 joint venture partnership for an additional 15 years. ANJI-CEVA Logistics (previously ANJI-CEVA Automotive Logistics) will also see its business scope extended to include non-automotive contract logistics in China, including Hong Kong.

The joint venture was set up in China in 2002 and today has more than 15,000 employees and revenues of around $1bn. It currently offers solutions in the automotive sector, offering inbound logistics, aftermarket contract logistics, import and export logistics and operates a ground transportation network covering more than 400 cities.

However, with this new agreement ANJI-CEVA will offer further services to new Chinese and overseas customers. As it re-brands to ANJI-CEVA Logistics, it will offer services to non-automotive sectors, with an initial focus on industrial & aerospace, technology, consumer & retail sectors and e-commerce.

ANJI-CEVA will participate in CEVA’s global network and will expand by acquiring contract logistics business from CEVA in China.
