China Post has launched a new postal air route from Xi’an, China to Moscow, Russia.

In July an all-cargo freighter, owned by ATU Aviation, carrying 17 tonnes of international mail and cross-border e-commerce parcels, took off from Xi’an Xianyang International Airport to Moscow.

The launch of this air route has provided more convenient flight options for the cross-border e-commerce sellers in Xi’an, and north-west China as a whole. It will enable easier conduct of cross-border trade with Russia as well as better consumer experience for Russian consumers. The flight is set to operate twice a week in August.
