CJ Logistics revenue increases 14.2% y-o-y in Q2 2022

CJ Logistics has reported its second quarter 2022 results. The company reported that operating profit has risen by 28.2% y-o-y to KRW* 116.1bn. Revenue rose to KRW 3.1tn, up 14.2% y-o-y.

Parcel and e-commerce

In Q2 2022, parcel revenue and operating profit rose by 6.7% and 8.8% y-o-y, respectively. Operating profit reached a value of KRW 57.1bn, whilst revenue increased to KRW 923.9bn. The company’s e-fulfilment business (fulfilment and last-mile delivery) saw revenue increase to KRW 1,256bn, up 110.4% y-o-y. CJ Logistics stated that revenue increased due to increases in fulfilment volumes and an expanding customer base.

Contract Logistics

Revenue and operating profits rose by 1.7% and 7.9% y-o-y, respectively. The contract logistics segment saw revenue reach KRW 689.5bn, whilst operating profits reached KRW 27.3bn.

Global

Global revenue and operating profits rose by 29.0% and 158.3% y-o-y, respectively. Revenue increased to KRW 1,362.9bn, whilst operating profit rose to KRW 29.7bn.
