DHL’s Indian express business Blue Dart reports revenue growth of 3.8% for the year


For the year ended March 31, 2018, Blue Dart has reported revenues of INR28,199m, up by 3.8% year-on-year.

Anil Khanna, Managing Director, Blue Dart said, “We have witnessed a sluggish market sentiment due to a challenging economic environment, slowing business growths, hyper-active competitive pressures in B2B and B2C, introduction of GST and initial hiccups in e-waybill implementation etc.”

Profit before tax was INR2,170m, down by 1.0%.

Blue Dart handled over 196m domestic shipments, 0.9m international shipments and almost 700,000 tonnes of documents and parcels.
