DSV forced to deny K+N takeover talks

DSV has been forced to deny that it is in deal talks with Kuehne + Nagel. Reports that K + N was considering a takeover of DSV first appeared in The Loadstar earlier this week.

After being asked whether the company was in advanced talks be taken over, a DSV spokesman told Reuters, “We are not. It is a hoax.”

Between them, DSV and Kuehne + Nagel had revenues of over €26bn in 2017.

DSV has recently submitted two offers to Swizz forwarder Panalpina, which is also considering a deal with Kuwait-based Agility. Either of these tie ups would create a company with revenues of approximately €8bn-€16bn.
