Kuehne+Nagel open new logistic hub for Adidas in Italy

Kuehne+Nagel has inaugurated its new adidas distribution centre in Mantova, Northern Italy. With a financial commitment of €350m—its largest investment to date—Kuehne+Nagel underscores its dedication to more efficient and eco-friendly logistics solutions. Furthermore, over 700 new jobs will be created, focusing on technical and digital skills.

The distribution centre will serve a geographical area spanning 19 countries in Southern and Eastern Europe. The hub will incorporate over 700 robots and additional automation to streamline every phase of the logistics process, from inventory tracking to product distribution. Spanning 130,000 sq m, the facility features 20 km of conveyor belts and a shuttle system managing 25 storage lanes with a capacity for 440,000 units.
