Lufthansa Cargo invests in startup


Lufthansa Cargo has invested in the digital freight marketplace, The 2017 startup has developed a platform for booking and marketing air cargo capacity. Stepping up its cooperation, Lufthansa Cargo has acquired a minority shareholding in the company.

The recent development follows from Lufthansa Cargo’s investment in the technology start-up, Fleet Logistics, in early 2018. Fleet Logistics acts as an online marketplace, matching customer demand for cargo services with free capacity provided by logistics companies. Lufthansa Cargo has also been cooperating with technology accelerator, Plug and Play, in an attempt to further develop and quickly implement new digital solutions.
