Neovia appoints new Chief Operations Officer


Neovia Logistics has announced that Kit Q. Boyd will join the company as Chief Operations Officer on January 16, 2017.

“Kit’s extensive relevant experience in logistics and manufacturing and his track record of driving significant operational improvements will bring valuable perspective to our executive leadership team,” said Neovia CEO Pat Olney. “We look forward to working with him to take Neovia to the next level of growth and operational excellence.

Boyd recently served as Senior Vice President of Global Logistics with Ingram Micro, where he was responsible for leading a team of more than 7,000 associates and for optimizing an $800m warehousing and transportation network.

Before joining Ingram, Boyd was responsible for warehousing and transportation at Ecolab, a $5bn Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing company. Earlier in his career, Boyd worked for Hewlett-Packard and Compaq Computer, gaining hands-on experience in account management, procurement, engineering, planning, manufacturing, customer service and distribution.
