Nichirei Logistics announced that its subsidiary in the United Kingdom, Themotraffic UK Limited, has acquired the remaining 50% share of Kevin Hancock Limited. Kevin Hancock Limited has been a subsidiary of Nichirei Logistics since it first acquired a 50% holding in September 2020.
As a result of this acquisition, carried out in December 2022, the company is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Themotraffic UK Limited. This transaction expands Thermotraffic’s footprint and service capabilities within the UK market, reinforces the company’s leadership position in the important/export area and enhances its value-added service to customers.
The Thermotraffic Group is part of the Nichirei Corporation in Tokyo, a company involved in temperature- controlled logistics. Thermotraffic UK is based in Rainham, Essex and is a branch of Thermotraffic Holland.
