Rhenus Air & Ocean UK has successfully obtained the ISO 13485 certification, vital for handling and transporting medical devices, including those used within the body.

This certification, which outlines stringent quality management system requirements, is an internationally recognized standard. It ensures that companies operating in the medical devices field comply with the highest benchmarks in healthcare and life sciences. 

The specialised Ashford, Middlesex facility, inaugurated in 2022 as Rhenus Group’s pioneering warehouse in Europe, is strategically situated near London Heathrow Airport. Focused on Life Sciences and Healthcare, it aims to provide comprehensive import and export logistics services, including temperature-controlled storage and end-to-end distribution with a white-glove approach.

Furthermore, Rhenus Air & Ocean holds the ISO 13485 certification in various pivotal locations globally, including Strasbourg, Berlin, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, and Tilburg.
