Australia’s TIC Reverse Logistics and the UK’s Allport have formed a reverse logistics joint venture to serve UK retailers and online stores. The new entity is called ACS Reverse Logistics.
TIC Reverse Logistics is a specialist in dealing with products otherwise destined for landfill. Allport has developed a strong relationship with TIC on a global basis, largely due to its experience in providing retailers with control and intelligence on store returns, recall products, damaged stock, as well as sale and consignment merchandise. The new venture aims to combine the strengths of both companies.
The new entity will provide a range of services for clients in four core areas: proprietary specialist reverse logistics management software (Solvup), a centralised returns centre, asset recovery and electronic article surveillance (EAS) tags.
