Toll launches its first ‘pop-up delivery hub’ in Australia

Toll has rolled out a new consumer-to-consumer parcel delivery solution by opening pop-up delivery hubs in shopping centres to meet Christmas demand.

The service is available seven days a week at centres in Bondi Junction (New South Wales), Doncaster (Victoria) and Carindale (Queensland). Packages can be sent at prices starting from AU$10.

Luke Condon, General Manager of Consumer and eCommerce, Toll Global Express, commented, “The pop-up hub is a first for Toll and we are excited to bring shoppers greater flexibility, better pricing and access to our vast delivery network capabilities.”

In order to meet Christmas demand, Toll’s network investments of over AU$320m in new warehouse facilities across Melbourne and Sydney over the last 18 months will also help. Up to 24 parcels per minute can now be processed.

Toll has also increased its delivery fleet up to 30% and staffing by up to 150% in certain locations to deal with peak season.
