ZIM has signed an agreement with Allcargo Logistics, India’s largest private LSP, to enable the shipping line to offer logistics services in India.
Specifically, ZIM will partner with Avvashya-CCI Logistics, a subsidiary of Allcargo. The agreement covers a wide range of services, including land transportation, customs clearance, warehousing and depot facilities and special cargo services.
Indrajit Dasgupta, ZIM India President, said: “We are upgrading and expanding ZIM’s network to better serve the Indian market. This new cooperation enables us to offer a wide range of complementary solutions to our customers, bringing our services to new levels of efficiency and excellence. We believe that with the expertise and experience of Avvashya-CCI, and their comprehensive network across India, we can synergize our abilities for the benefit of the customers.”
